- Once you enter the App Store, you can browse the apps just like you would on an iPad or iPhone. The initial page lists featured apps, including new and currently popular ones. You can search for a specific app using the search function in the upper right corner of the screen, or you can change the app category by clicking "All Categories" in the menu on its right. This allows you to choose from apps in a specific category, such as productivity apps or games.
- Just like the App Store on iPad, you can click on an app to get more information. You can also purchase the app. On the right side of the screen is the app icon. Just below it is a button for purchasing the app. Free apps have a 'Get' button and apps with price tags will show the price.
- When making app purchases, you may be asked to verify your account by entering your account password. This is similar to the iPad. You only need to verify your account once per session, unless you leave your computer for a long period of time.

Quick Tip: You don't have to be in the App Store category of the iTunes Store to search for an app. However, results for the currently selected category are listed first, so if you are in the Music category, results for Music will appear before results in the App Store.
