Want the easiest and fastest way to share your photos on Facebook? No need to open your Safari browser and load Facebook's webpage to share your latest photos. You can do so in the Photos app or directly from the camera right after taking a photo. You can also easily upload recorded videos to your iPad.
How to upload a photo or video to Facebook via Photos:
- Connect your iPad to Facebook. If you haven't done so already, you'll want to connect your iPad to Facebook in your iPad's settings. You can do this by opening your iPad's settings , tapping Facebook in the left menu, and then logging in to Facebook from this screen. This will give you various shortcuts to Facebook while using your iPad. More on How to Connect iPad to Facebook
- Go to Your Photos . Once connected to Facebook, uploading photos to Facebook is simple. First, go to the Photos app and select the photos you want to upload.
- Share your photos. Tap the Share button at the top of the screen . This looks like a rectangle with an arrow coming out. This will open a window called Share Sheet with sharing options such as sending photos via email or text message.
- Share on Facebook . When you connect Facebook to your iPad, a Facebook button will appear on this share sheet. Just tap on Facebook and you'll be prompted to enter a description for your photo. When you're ready, hit the Publish button in the upper-right corner of the pop-up window .
- You can share videos in the same way! You don't need to do anything special to share a video on Facebook. Follow these same instructions, but you can choose a video instead of a photo and upload it to your Facebook page.
- Take a photo or video and share it . When you use the camera to take photos or record videos, you can quickly access all the photos and videos you took in that session. You can view your most recent photos by tapping on the photos displayed in the Camera app. And the best part is, you can share right from this screen using the same instructions.
And that's it. You should be able to see your photos in your news feed, just like the photos you upload to Facebook.
How to Upload Multiple Photos to Facebook from iPad
It has the advantage of being able to edit quickly . Apple's magic wand tool lets you light up the colors in your photos.
- First, open the Photos app and select the album containing your photos.
- Then press the Select button in the upper-right corner of the screen .
- This will put you in multi-select mode, allowing you to select multiple photos. Just tap on each photo you want to upload and the selected photo will be marked with a blue checkmark.
- Once you've selected all the photos you want to upload , tap the Share button in the upper left corner of the display .
- A Share Sheets window will appear with several options, including sending via email. Emails are limited to 5 at a time. Select Facebook to start the upload process .
- On the next screen you can enter a description for the photo before uploading. When you're ready to upload, simply tap the Publish button in the upper-right corner of the dialog box .
You can also upload photos from Facebook.
Of course, you don't need to go to the Photos app to upload images to Facebook. If you are already in the Facebook app, simply tap the Photo button below the new comment box at the top of the screen. The photo selection screen appears. You can also select multiple photos. If you're having trouble deciding which photo to choose, you can use the pinch-zoom gesture to zoom in on the photo.
I don't recommend browsing Facebook yet because the Photos app makes finding your photos a lot easier.
